A continuation with different means.


Mud Shurko is my Ernst Matscheko Solo-Projekt.
When "The Mub" splitted in late 1985, I intended to release some music by myself. But I never really did it.
More than twenty years later, in 2008, I started this project, releasing my own sound and music. I work with simple media, using home recording stuff (USB-multitrack audio interface and Cubase).



I tried to record sessions directly and live without great claim to perfection -
looking for the moment, the serendipity, coming from simple chords, played on guitar or keyboard. And I was glad, when it worked out to play something with (and with a little help from) my friends.

Since 2010 the concept changed: all productions since are recordings of live events, which I got recording the jams we played at our traditionell summer parties at Cafe Sack - partial with additional overdubs, especially with my drums.
